​Bare Feet Ministries was born out of a vision given to the Director, Charles Samuels in 2007.

During his daily devotion whilst reading Psalm 82, the verses 3-4 - “Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless, maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed, rescue the weak and needy” - stood out, haunting him for a month. He did not follow through with this vision involving himself with mission aimlessly without cause or meaning until his wife Doris of 42 years passed away in 2016.

Bare Feet Ministries is a relief and development organization empowering those who fall into the framework of the verses 3 & 4 of Psalm 82. We work for a just, peaceful and sustainable world free from injustice and poverty. We concentrate on Preventative and Primary Health care in undeveloped countries in the Asia Pacific region.
