Our vision and passion is to glorify God, magnifying his grace and exalting his son Jesus Christ through loving people as he has commanded us to do by serving and nurturing the weak and fatherless, maintaining the rights of the poor and oppressed and rescuing the weak and needy thus bringing about a peaceful, just and sustainable world for everyone.
For this kind of world to become a reality, we believe we need to focus on three main goals. They are:
We believe that change happens when communities are helped to recognize their skills, strengths and assets that they already have that enable them to overcome their challenges. This means that the communities themselves take responsibility for change. We are merely catalysts equipping them with every necessary resource along the way. We do this primarily through the teaching and preaching of God’s word and financial assistance from generous personal donors.
Our work with communities is focused on sourcing and locating our beneficiaries through churches and church communities in the Asia Pacific region as necessary and as called upon to do so.
Health: Addressing the health of individuals and communities is an essential aspect of fighting poverty. But poverty is also a contributor to health problems. We will negotiate with the medical profession in the respective country to have the best outcome for the person who is unwell.
Gender & empowerment: Women and girls face many barriers to reaching their full potential simply because they are female in some areas of the region. We assist when and where this issue is exposed.Education is of the utmost importance.
Environment: The world’s changing climate is having hugely destructive impacts on people’s lives, and communities in the developing world. These people are much more vulnerable. The supply of solar panels in remote areas and in villages is encouraged.
